Notes on architecture project examines contemporary spaces and their uses. This work documents Barcelona’s Forum area by video panoramic views. This area of the city has a spectacular characteristic; a place that lacks sense of place and social identity. Forum area was built for the celebration of the cultural event “Universal Forum of Cultures” in 2004. Only 7 years after its opening, this place has become a global space without a defined social use. It is a place that takes the identity of the events taking place in it. It is aimed at music festivals, cultural events and business conventions.
This project consists of a series of moving images. These videos have an evocative slowness in which the action seems to be suspended, causing an intermediate effect between photography and moving image.
